Data Center Contract to
Sysorex
Tuwaiq Communication has
awarded a $50 million
contract to Sysorex
Arabia, LLC, a
subsidiary of Sysorex
Consulting, Inc.
headquartered in
Mountain View,
California U.S.A. to
build and operate a new
state-of-the-art high
availability Data Center
and provide related IT
services.
Under the contract
Sysorex will build a
world class Tier IV data
center for Tuwaiq.
Sysorex will also manage
and operate the Data
Center under the
agreement. Sysorex has a
strong history of
building and managing
data centers in Saudi
Arabia and in the U.S.
Sysorex is also
providing a variety of
other IT solutions,
services and training to
government and business
customers in the Kingdom
from its Riyadh office.

that Mark O’Donnell has
joined Sysorex as
President. Mr. O’Donnell
is already serving on
the Board of Directors
of Sysorex and now will
join the management
team.

business, will provide
the additional

leadership for the

He has
been in the Federal
Government IT business
for over 20 years. Mr.
O’Donnell formerly was
Vice President & General
Manager of Inacom
Federal Systems. He
subsequently negotiated
and sold their Federal
Business to Micron after
the company elected to
depart the Federal
Market and he continued
consulting to Micron
after the sale. Mr.
O’Donnell has been a
management consultant
and provided support to
the IT Industry.
Prior to
Inacom Mr. O’Donnell
served as Vice President
and General Manager of
Vanstar Federal which
became Inacom upon the
merger of the two
entities, Inacom and
Vanstar were both large
commercial services
centric Fortune 500
Companies. Mr. O’Donnell
also was Vice President
Business Development of
Sysorex Information
Systems, Inc. and was
instrumental in the sale
of the company to
Vanstar having captured
Army PC-1, PC-2,
Notebook and VA PCHS
Contracts among others.
Before
joining Sysorex
Information Systems, Mr.
O’Donnell was an
executive with GTSI from
it’s early inception in
the mid 80’s through it
becoming a publicly
traded government
systems integrator upon
his capturing the Air
Force Desktop IV
Contract. Additionally
during his many years
there he lead the
technical team on the
Navy Companion Contract
and managed many areas
of the company including
Network Services,
Technical Support and
Operations. Mr.
O’Donnell is also a U.S.
Navy Veteran.

Oppenheim and Mark
O’Donnell were
officially elected to
the Board of Directors
at SFI’s shareholder
meeting yesterday. These
new members will join
the existing members:
Nadir Ali and A. Salam
Qureishi.
Mr. Oppenheim is a
private investor and
sits on the Board of
NEXMED, Inc. a public
corporation traded on
NASDAQ. From 1999 to
2001 Mr. Oppenheim was a
Partner of Faxon
Research, which provided
Independent Research to
professional investors
in the stock market.
Prior to Faxon Research,
Mr. Oppenheim was a
Principal, Institutional
Sales at Montgomery
Securities.
Mr.
O’Donnell has been in
the Federal Government
IT business for over 20
years establishing
companies that he has
worked for, including
the federal division of
a Fortune 500 Company,
as a driving force in
the federal market. He
was Group Vice President
of Vanstar Government
Systems and prior to
that with Sysorex
Information Systems,
Inc. Before joining
Sysorex, Mr. O’Donnell
was an executive with
GTSI a publicly traded
government systems
integrator. Mr.
O’Donnell has continued
to support many major
contractors on
large-scale programs
through his consulting
business. Mr. O’Donnell
has also served in the
U.S. Navy.
